Here is the information I sent out to all of our seniors from the Jameson family about the local scholarship they are offering.
The link below takes you to the flyer with the QR code. Students will need to fill out the Google form in entirety. There are a few essays to write, this part is very important.
The other things that are important to know are:
1. GPA isn't necessarily a deciding factor. If you can get into college, they will consider you.
2. They are looking at need. Students who have been awarded lots of scholarships already will probably not be high on their list. Their goal is to help the students who don't necessarily get all the scholarships.
3. This scholarship can cover tuition at regional and state colleges, as well as technology centers.
4. It is the student's responsibility to continue to send transcripts and enrollments in order to receive payment each semester. Payments go directly to the school.
5. One $20,000 scholarship will be awarded. There could be additional scholarships based on the applicants and their need.
