Wrestlers Place 2nd in Hub City Tournament
The Geary/Watonga team placed 2nd in the competitive Hub City Tournament last weekend at Clinton. Tuttle High School, which came in 2nd at the Geary Wrestling Tournament in January, took first place at the tournament. Other placings were: Clinton, 3rd; Vinita, 4th, and Cache, 5th. Individual winners were: 1st place - Haden Glasgow (145), 2nd place - Henry Brown (126), Kendell Johnson (138), Francisco Leyva (160), Jacob Base (182), and Dion Brown (195); 4th place - Justice Yates (170) and Jacob Muench (182), and 5th place - Ryan Gilbert (120), Dallas Williams (285). Other wrestlers competing: 106 Angel Espinoza, 120 Logan Owings, 132 Andrew Peck, 152 Jonathan Reza, 170 Jaden Flynn, 195 Jacob Boston, 220 Jose Perez, 220 Kagan Rinehart, and 285 Chase Merkey.
