Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Geary Schools and Geary community are working together to help in the Moore tornado relief and clean-up efforts. The Elementary School is collecting donations for the American Red Cross. Students, staff, parents and community members can purchase paper cut-outs of the State of Oklahoma with their Red Cross donation. The donation amount for each cut-out is: pink Oklahoma, $10; green Oklahoma, $5; and blue Oklahoma, $1. Donations to the Red Cross may also be dropped off at City Hall or Cornerstone Bank. Checks should be made payable to Oklahoma Relief Red Cross
Non-monetary donations are being collected at the Geary Agriplex from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. until Friday, May 24th. Items needed include: bottled water, trash bags, plastic totes, gloves, shovels, Gatorade, baby food, and non-perishable food. Please, no clothing or household appliances at this time.
