Vision and Mission Statement
At Geary Public Schools our vision is to have a positive, caring, and safe school, to motivate our learning community and to pursue goals and reach high expectations through a variety of interesting educational opportunities that focus on respect, leadership, accountability, and lifelong learning.
Geary Public Schools I-080 will become a leader in providing educational programs and experiences, training and knowledge with 21st Century tools and skills for students to excel in the global environment. Staff will be dedicated in providing opportunities for academic excellence.
Through collaboration with the community and students, Geary Public Schools will provide a safe, supportive environment with educational opportunities empowering every student to become a self-assured, responsible, and economically productive citizen. The district exists to serve the unique academic, physical, social and emotional needs of the students.
Students and staff will create a community of empowered learners in an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust. Students will be inspired and challenged to learn, grow, and accomplish academic, social, and technical goals.
All Geary Public Schools staff shall be committed to the students, each other, and the education profession as one team to achieve excellence in learning and teaching. Students, parents, the school board, and the community shall be members of the team to create an outstanding student centered learning environment, which supports experiences in curricular and extra-curricular activities for all children.
