New Covid Quarantine Guidelines
The CDC recently released new guidelines for quarantining which will potentially lessen the time students and staff are in quarantine following exposure to Covid-19. The original 14-day quarantine period has been reduced to 7-10 days following close contact with someone with Covid. The person exposed to Covid may quarantine for only 7 days if they have no symptoms and test negative within 48 hours of quarantine ending. Without a test, the quarantine period will end 10 days after exposure and no symptoms. Please read the letter below from Superintendent Todd Glasgow for details concerning the school district's change in the quarantine policy.
