Hi! My name is Moana Thomas, and I am so excited to be teaching 1st grade! I earned my bachelor’s degree in Sociology and my master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix.

I love creating a classroom where students feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. One of my favorite things about teaching 1st grade is watching students grow in confidence, independence, and their love of reading and learning throughout the year.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two children, being creative, and making memories with my family. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be part of our school community and look forward to partnering with families to help our students be successful!
