Hello! I'm Barbara Maib, an assistant and library teacher at Geary Elementary. I began my career in 2005, teaching fifth grade here at Geary. Since then I have also taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st grade.I now work in the library, supporting students as they become increasingly developed readers and writers. I live just outside of Geary with my husband, Jeff Maib, who teaches Middle School and high school Math at Geary. We have 4 grown children, all of whom graduated from Geary High School, and three grandchildren! I appreciate the opportunity to continue serving students and staff as part of the  Geary Bison Team!
