Successful Scrimmage Held
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Bison held a successful scrimmage Friday with Waynoka, Ringwood, and Destiny Christian in preparation for the first game of the season, Sept. 4. Head coach Caleb Howell had this to report: "Our scrimmage went well, we got a lot of reps for all our players. We saw good things that we can build on, as well as things we could tune up these next couple of weeks as we prepare for our season opener. Our biggest focus will be more reps on our individual technique in positions, and playing through the whistles." Twenty-eight HS athletes are suiting up for the Bison and 10 players in grades 7-8 for the JH team. The first game of the season, Sept. 4, will be at home with the Canton Tigers.
