The 5th and 6th grade basketball season is in full swing with one game left for our youngest ball players. One highlight of the season thus far was the girls' 18-14 win against Watonga in an exciting home game Jan. 16. The Young Bison played at home Thursday, Jan. 23, against Holy Trinity and will face Canton in an away game Jan. 27. Only one game left so come out and support the Young Bison. Boys' and girls' teams practice every school day from 7:30-8:45 a.m. Principal and coach Sean Buchanan said the players are "improving by leaps and bounds", winning games, and showing up for practice before school every day. Basketball assistant coach is Haylee Norris.
