Geary/Watonga Team Runner-Up Champs at Dual State
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Geary/Watonga team became the Class 3A runner-up title holder at the Dual State Wrestling Tournament this past weekend. The Bison lost to wrestling powerhouse Perry 51-15 in the Finals at the Firelake Arena in Shawnee Saturday night. The team made it to the Finals after defeating Sperry 42-39 in the Quarterfinals and Plainview 54-23 in the Semifinals. This marks the first time in school history that Geary went on to Dual State Finals. The team was presented a trophy at the awards ceremony. Congratulations Bison Wrestlers on all your achievements this year!
