Sequoyah Readers Visit Alabaster Caverns State Park
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThirty-four elementary students visited Alabaster Caverns State Park and toured the caverns recently as part of the annual Sequoyah field trip. They also ate a picnic lunch there and hiked some of the park trails. Students in 3rd-6th grades qualified for the annual Sequoyah trip by reading the required number of Sequoyah books for their grade level. Going on the trip were: Morgan Coppage, Maggie Glasgow, Remington King, Linda Silva, Adrian Pekah, Lanson Pratt, Kale Smith, Hayley Gormley, Destanie Allen, Daphne Base, Briannah Birdshead, Heather Brown, Ashleigh Charley, Kylea Correia, Amaya Evans, Jada Garrett, Emily Leyva, Leslie Littlebird, Levi Posey, Tyler Marshall, Michael Blackcrow, Tucker Hicks, Molly Cox, Kayley Duran, Delanie Kayser, Jenna Simmons, Camyria Ewing, Gillian Murphy, Addyson Noyes, Serena Williams, Lyric Hickok, Izzy Yellowfish, Max Glasgow, and Kadyn Noyes.
