4th and 5th Grade Reading and ELA

Greetings!

It is with glad tidings that I have joined the Geary community teaching family.  My name is Danella Buchanan.  I come from a little town not too far here called Fort Cobb, where I attended high school.  For the past 16 years, I have been teaching English and Spanish to audiences from age 5 to 85.  Languages are my passion.

This year I will working with 4th and 5th grade (YAY!!) with an emphasis on building close reading skills and strategies and strengthening the writing regiment.  Oh, what fun that we will have.....
